Palm Sunday Seder Meal

Palm Sunday, April 2nd, at 5:00 p.m., St. Johns will be hosting a Seder Meal.

The seder is a celebration of our shared salvation. The haggadah declares, “Whoever is hungry — let him come and eat! Whoever is needy — let him come and celebrate the Passover!” A Messianic Haggadah takes the elements of a traditional Jewish Passover Seder meal and interprets them in view of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection.

Seder meals are intended to be family friendly! Teaching children the importance of traditions and history is a major focus of the celebration. We plan to have an event that is fun and engaging for the whole family. There is a signup sheet in the fellowship hall. Please let us know if you plan on attending so that we can adequately plan for food preparations.
