Confirmation Parents’ Meeting

 A Confirmation Parent Meeting will also be held on September 9th, at 5:00 p.m. On this first night, classes will end when the Parent Meeting concludes, at approximately 5:30 p.m.


Youth Parents’ Meeting

St. John's Sunday School Kick-off

Our Sunday School kick-off has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 30, immediately following Sunday School and Adult Bible Class. Please join us as we launch a new season of learning about God’s love! Camp Luther Sunday & Annual Meeting

 On Sunday, September 13th, 2026 join us for Camp Luther Sunday as we pray for camp, celebrate God’s work through its ministry, and collect a special offering to support the mission of Creating and Renewing Disciples of Jesus Christ. That afternoon, congregations are invited to send two voting delegates to the Annual Meeting at Gerwick Lodge. The new Welcome Center will be dedicated. The gathering will include ministry reports, elections, a look at the future of Camp Luther, and an oppor-tunity for questions, followed by a meal and fellowship. Learn more and register here.


Orphan Grain Train Coordinator

Les Weber is now serving as our Orphan Grain Train Coordinator. If wishing to connect with a question or a suggestion, please contact Les. We thank him for his offer of dedication in sharing God’s blessings with those in need.


Orphan Grain Train "Wish List"

The Orphan Grain Train Wish List not only Prayers for God’s blessings on this ministry, but also the following in particular:

  • Volunteers to sort and pack clothing
  • Cash donations to pay for shipping
  • Infant’s cloth or disposable diapers, stuffed toys
  • Bed and bath linens, sheets, disposable gowns and gloves,
  • Walkers, wheel chairs, crutches and canes
  • Sanitary products for women
  • Diapers for adults and babies
  • Towels and wash cloths, bars of soap, combs, toothbrushes
  • Clothing (clean and in good repair) for every-one - especially coats and sweat shirts
  • School supplies
  • 2Quilts, blankets, com-forters, sleeping mats
  • Bicycles
  • New coloring books and crayons
  • Sports equipment such as soccer balls, basket-balls, baseball equip-ment
  • New underwear and socks, shoes
  • Bibles

Spring '26 Roadside Trash Cleanup

Cleaning up the neighborhood never looked so good! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Roadside Pickup! We spent the morning together brightening up our little corner of God's creation. Between the fellowship, the fresh air, and (of course) the donuts, it was a morning well spent. St. John’s is committed to being good stewards of the beauty the Lord has provided!
